Swamiji's mission in life is to help the
humanity by spreading his message about teachings of Bhagwad
Gita. Swamiji does not charge for any of his teachings
of Gita, Yoga, Pranayam, and Meditation or for his personal
gain. However, your donation can greatly improve the
quality of life for the people in need. Here are
highlights of some of the programs carried out by Swamiji.
- "Mangalaya Gita Vidyapeeth" was established
in 1997, and is administered by Bhagwat Geeta Parivar Trust,
founded by Swamiji. The school is presently providing
free education to 250-300 students. Classes are from 6th
to 10th Standard. The regular academic instructions are enhanced
by including knowledge of Sanskrit as an essential component
in the learning process.
The
cost per child is about Rs. 5,000 ($125) per year
which includes education, food, clothing, medicines,
and salary of teachers. The school is funded solely
by voluntary contributions from people like you.
- Primary education is the foundation
for better success in life. Keeping this in
mind, Swamiji also supports some bright and needy
students to succeed further in life providing them
for their tuition in Post Secondary Education
programs like MBA, IT, Engineering, and others.
- Clothes, Food, Medicine, Pots and Pans are basic
necessities of life. Your continued support
helped Swamiji to help hundreds of families in need
and hoping to help many more
- There are several parents in rural India who could
not afford to pay for their daughter's wedding.
The social pressure results in daughters committing
suicide or run away from home seeking refuge being
veshya (prostitute).
Swamiji
helps those families and their daughters by
providing the knowledge of Bhagwad Gita and help to
arrange and pay for their weddings. The cost
of each wedding is about Rs. 30,000 ($800) to Rs.
50,000 ($1,300). Because of your general
donations, he could help about 10 brides a year.
Well wishers are encouraged to reap the
full benefit of spiritual growth and divine life through the
teachings of Swamiji. Everyone is encouraged to visit
the school in Ghazipur, U.P. and reside at the
Vidyapeeth with Swamiji to witness the ongoing enrichment of
the children.
As all programs are supported by
contributions, continued support is the key to the success
for people in need. Contributions can be in the form of time,
energy, and financial.
